Yummy Cake Coconut
A tasty and easy to make cake with coconuts
Ingredients: 1 box Duncan Hines white cake mix 1 cup milk or (Blue Diamond Almond Breeze opt) 1 cup sugar or (sucanat opt) 2 cups shredded coconut fresh or frozen (8 oz pkg) 1 (12 oz) container Cool Whip
Directions: Butter and lightly flour a 9 x 13 inch pan.
According to directions on the back of the Duncan Hines cake mix using the whole egg recipe prepare and bake cake. When cake is finished take the handle of a spoon and punch holes in the cake.
In saucepan add: milk, sucanat or sugar and boil 10 mins. While cake is still warm pour sucanat milk mixture over top of cake allowing it to seep into holes.
After cake cools evenly spread cool whip on top and sprinkle coconuts on top of cool whip. Refrigerate.
